Clare-Digby Ravens win Atom B Hockey Nova Scotia provincial title

The Clare-Digby Ravens Atom B team edged the Chebucto Green Atlantics 4-3 in a shootout to become the youngest minor hockey team ever from the area to win a provincial title. The provincial title was on the line in a game played at Hockey Nova Scotia’s Day of Champions in Truro this past weekend. After a scoreless 1st period, Clare-Digby scored three times in the 2nd period. Chebucto later came back to tie the game and force overtime. After a scoreless overtime the game went into a shootout. In the shootout, Cohen Neil didn't allow a single puck to go past him, while his team scored twice, with goals coming from Nathaniel "Gibby" Deveau and the game winner by Gordon Deal. This game was the first time at the 2019 day of Champions that a shootout was needed to determine a provincial winner.
