RCMP continue search for missing Granville Beach man

BRIDGETOWN, N.S. —

Annapolis District RCMP is continuing its search for 69-year-old Malcolm Armstrong, who left his residence in Granville Beach on Sept. 1 at 5 p.m.

RCMP said Armstrong has not been seen since and police and his family are concerned for his safety.

Armstrong is described as a white man and is between 5-foot-10 and 6-feet tall, with a slim build. He has grey hair, blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a green plaid shirt and sneakers.

Since Armstrong was reported missing, the RCMP has been continuing to search for him. His home and property have been searched, as well as the surrounding areas. Police were assisted by RCMP Police Dog Services, local search teams, and air support as well.

The search is continuing today (Sept. 3), and the RCMP is checking with local businesses for surveillance footage. Armstrong is known to walk from his residence into Annapolis Royal.
