MARSHALLTOWN – No one was injured in a two-vehicle collision in Marshalltown.

A compact sedan and a full-sized pick up collided at 747 Hwy 101 in Marshalltown in front of Gates Power Equipment just before 9 a.m. Nov. 21.

The pick up was struck on the passenger side and driven sideways with enough force to rip off both passenger side wheels.

The compact sedan ended up backwards in the road with the front end demolished.

Traffic was routed through Gates parking lot and Acadian Wipers while the road was closed for about an hour.
