Actress Annie Wersching is best known for her role as FBI agent Renee Walker in the television series 24He died at the age of 45.

Wersching died Sunday morning in Los Angeles following a battle with cancer, his publicist told The Associated Press. The type of cancer is not specified.

Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Wersching appeared in dozens of television shows during her two-decade career. His first credit was on Star Trek: Enterprise, and he had recurring roles in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24, Bosch, The Vampire Diaries, Marvel’s Runaways, The Rookie and, most recently, Second. Season 1 of Star Trek: Picard as Borg Queen.
