Regional finals here we come: Digby senior boys soccer team advances to championship

BRIDGETOWN – The Digby Regional High School senior boys soccer team won both their first round games at Regionals.

The Mariners beat New Germany 2-1 in shootouts in Bridgetown in the morning on Oct. 22.

The game was tied 1-1 at the end of regulation time; Nathan Janson scored Digby’s goal.

Neither team scored through two 10-minute overtimes.

In shootouts, Digby’s tenth shooter, Noah Titus ended it.

And that afternoon the Mariners beat Shelburne 3-1.
