LANSDOWNE – Would the owner of this snowmobile please step forward?

Digby RCMP are trying to find out who owns a snowmobile abandoned on private property in Lansdowne.

Const. Darrell McNeil says the machine was left in Lansdowne sometime between Jan. 22 and 24.

He has tried researching the plate, only to discover it has been sold five times - at last count -  since that plate was attached and none of those five owners registered the snowmobile.

The most recent owner who the RCMP contacted says he sold it on Kijiji and doesn’t have a name or any contact info for the person he sold it to.

The property owner wants the machine off his property and if the  owner cannot be found soon, the snowmobile will be disposed of says Const. McNeil.

Anyone with any information about the machine’s owner is asked to contact the Digby RCMP detachment at 902-245-2579 as soon as possible.
