PHOTOS: Wharf Rat Rally 2018


The Wharf Rat Rally has wrapped up for another year. Check out some of the results from this weekends activities and competitions here: 

John Kemp won three awards in the best beard competition. He got a prize for the best natural beard, longest beard and mustache. The best goatee award was presented to Mike Geislinger, the best short beard was awarded to Aaron Schroeder and the best santa impression was given to Doug Wood. 

The burnout contest took place at the Digby wharf at 6:00 p.m. on Sept. 2.  Jeremy Comeau won first prize, Dan Brazzell in second and Corey Bartlett in third place. 

The annual show and shine competition was judged by the public, the bikes with the most votes win. 

The best custom built bike was awarded to Marc Chaisson, best cruiser to Michael Festing, best sports bike to Try Lohnes, best paint to Barbara Festing, best overall shine to Ron Rennekan and Jim Biro took home three prizes, the best vintage, non-conventional and best farthest away bike. Barbara Festing also won the people's choice award, her name will be added to the wharf rat trophy. 

This years 50/50 jackpot was $23,202.50 and Robert Jordan of Culloden took it home!
