BEAR RIVER – Faces were smiling and slightly rosy from the wind at the Bear River Winter Carnival on Feb. 11 as kids and parents enjoyed the outdoor event

People still showed up and had fun despite the wonky weather that preceded the event, and participated in indoor and outdoor activities. While organizers of the event had been worried a week out there would be a lack of snow, Mother Nature delivered a pile of it during an overnight storm that started the evening of Feb. 9 and continued on into the morning of Feb. 10.

This year marked the event's 10th anniversary.
