Digby’s senior girls will play in the consolation game of their weekend tournament this afternoon at 2:45 p.m.

The girls lost their first game last night 44-58 against Barrington but won this morning 76-33 over Annapolis.

Rebekah Cook was named game MVP this morning. She had 13 points, 7 offensive boards and 9 defensive.

Coach Tyler Crowell says his team’s goal going into the tournament was just to keep improving every game. “We wanted to get everyone in and work on the things we’ve been doing all year. We’re trying out some new offenses. They’re exhibition games – it’d be nice to win but we’re playing for the end of the year.” Digby stats against AWEC, Saturday, Jan. 19
