Clare Lions take first game of semi-final playoffs

Valley Keith’s played with and skated with Clare Lions for two periods, but wound up on the losing end in a 6-2 game Friday night at the Université Sainte Anne rink in Church Point.

It was the first game of the best-of-five semi-finals in the Nova Scotia Junior C league’s West Division, and pits the league leading Lions against the fourth place finishers from Digby.

The two teams play the series' second game Sunday at the Digby Area Arena.
