Two local golfers won the Digby Pines Ladies Annual Texas Scramble Invitational on August 19.
By the 18th hole, two of the 34 teams were tied for first place and had to play hole number one again as the tie breaker. With all of the teams watching from the sidelines, Anne Balser and Janet Randall, both of Digby, won the playoff hole. They took the overall low gross title with a score of 65. The overall net winners and recipients of the Marilyn Outhouse Memorial Trophy, were Edith D’Entremont and Mia White of West Pubnico with a score of 51.
