LeBlanc, 21, of Clare Golf and Country Club, had started the day 12 shots back of Harris, 20. Both shot 79, seven shots over par at Grandview Golf and Country Club in Dartmouth.
Over four rounds, LeBlanc shot 85-79-82-79, for a total of 325. Harris, with three rounds in the 70s (75-82-77-79), ended at 313.
It was the third provincial championship for Harris, who led from start to finish.
Eighteen women played in the championship following the withdrawal of two golfers.
The top four finishers—Harris, LeBlanc, Crystal Romero Fitzpatrick and Cathy Donald—will represent Nova Scotia at the Royale Canadian Women's Amateur Championship at Royal Oaks Golf Club in Moncton, on July 27-31.
LeBlanc takes second at Women’s Amateur
Meteghan River’s Mireille LeBlanc, defending champion at the Nova Scotia Women's Amateur championship, finished second Saturday to her main opponent, Laura Harris of Ken-Wo.
