The Bryan MacPherson team from the Mayflower Curling Club is leading the Nova Scotia Senior Men's curling championship in Digby with a 4-0 record.

Competition among the over-50 men's teams began Wednesday on the four sheets at the Digby Curling Centre, and play continues until Monday.

Six of the 12 teams competing in the triple knockout event are from the Mayflower club, which dominates the provincial curling scene.

The winning rink moves on to the Canadian championship in Prince Edward Island.

The Digby club will host the Canadian championship in 2011.
