West Nova MP Greg Kerr says he is suffering some vision problems following what he calls a minor stroke.

In a news release today, Kerr said he feels fine. “The only damage seems to be my vision which has been reduced, hopefully a temporary problem.

“I will be focusing on a number of rehabilitation measures in the coming weeks and my public availability will be limited,” the MP said.

His announcement was issued because people had asked why he recently cancelled several meetings and events.

Among the cancelled events was a consultation session planned for today in Cornwallis Park with local chambers of commerce, boards of trade members and community leaders from across the riding in advance of the federal government’s coming budget.
