The man’s name has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
Annapolis RCMP say neighbours found the man lying in the snow Sunday about 1:30 p.m. He had last been seen in his home on Saturday about 5 p.m., and police speculate the man may have been outside overnight and succumbed to the elements.
An autopsy is to be performed to determine cause of death.
Elderly man found in snow
An 83-year-old man died outside his Cornwallis Park home on the weekend, a possible victim of the winter storm that hit the area Saturday.
