Early morning drug bust

A Digby man is facing charges after members of he Digby RCMP and the street crime unit located a marijuana growing operation in a garage at Haines Lake.

Police said 47 mature plants were seized in the early hours of Nov. 1. Also seized was a large quantity of equipment for growing plants.

The man is scheduled to appear in Digby Provincial Court on Dec. 14 to face a charge of marijuana production.

Police said the investigation in ongoing and further charges are anticipated.
