Aaron and John Trask have been sentenced to prison for killing Wayne Doucette, 55, of Doucetteville on Labour Day weekend in 2007.

Supreme Court Justice Charles Haliburton sentenced Aaron Trask, 36, to life in prison with no parole consideration for at least 10 years. He had pleaded guilty earlier this month to second degree murder.

His younger brother, John Trask, 24, pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to eight and a half years, but with credit for time spent in jail waiting for trial, he may serve no more than five years in prison.

A 19-year-old-girl is scheduled to go to trial next month, charged with murder, robbery and conspiracy. She can't be identified because she was under 18 at the time of the death.
