A man waiting impatiently outside the courthouse said his number was ‘in the 600s.’
“I’m pretty sure this is for the Wayne Doucette trial,” the man told the Courier. “But he knew so many people it will be hard getting jurors.”
The body of Doucette, 55, was found in his home Sept. 1, 2007.
Aaron Trask, 36, and John Trask, 24 were charged with first-degree murder, along with an 18-year-old woman, who was 17 at the time. While the woman chose trial by judge, the Trask brothers chose trial by jury and will be tried in the coming weeks.
A fourth person Nathan Roger Tidd, 20, of Sandy Cove, was convicted earlier this year of break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence.
