G.K. Morse Trucking has started work again on the River Road laying the force main sewer line from Bear River to the Smith’s Cove waste water treatment plant.
Spring has sprung and that means road work. Crews from G.K. Morse Trucking resumed work out on the River Road last week, working to connect the Bear River sewer line to the waste water treatment plant in Smiths Cove.
Construction began in early September last year after the Wharf Rat Rally had ended, but was suspended over the winter.
Linda Fraser, CAO for the Municipality of Digby said the construction’s gone quite well and the hope is to hook-in by June, weather-permitting.
