The driver and passenger of a car that rolled into the ditch in Marshalltown were both up and walking around when EHS arrived.
The couple, heading west on Hwy 101, slid off the road and rolled their small sedan just past the sharp turn before Acadian Wipers and Gates Power Equipment about 1 p.m. this afternoon, Wednesday, Jan. 16.
EHS, Digby Fire Department, RCMP and Transportation all responded to the accident.
Traffic was reduced to one lane for about an hour as emergency personnel tended to the passengers, cleaned up leaking fluids and towed the vehicle.
Snow had been falling for about 2 hours and the roads were slushy and only centerline bare on some parts of the 101 at the time of the accident.
