The car had been heading west on Highway 101 when they lost control in snowy slushy conditions and went in the ditch near #847 Hwy 101 in Marshalltown – just west of the sharp turn before Acadian Wipers and Gaetz Power Equipment.

The driver and passenger of a car that rolled into the ditch in Marshalltown were both up and walking around when EHS arrived.

The couple, heading west on Hwy 101, slid off the road and rolled their small sedan just past the sharp turn before Acadian Wipers and Gates Power Equipment about 1 p.m. this afternoon, Wednesday, Jan. 16.

EHS, Digby Fire Department, RCMP and Transportation all responded to the accident.

Snow had been falling for about 2 hours and the roads were slushy and only centerline bare on some parts of the 101 at the time of the accident.

    the frito lays truck went off the road in bear river today going up to the reserve. nobody was hurt ..fleetline towed the truck out. that was around 2pm.
