The RCMP and fire marshall are investigating a fire in Mount Pleasant.

A barn behind the house at 876 Culloden Road in Mount Pleasant burnt to the ground early Sunday morning, Dec. 23.

A resident of the house awoke to find the barn on fire at 3 a.m. and called 911.

Fire fighters from Digby could see the glow from the fire as they headed up Mount Pleasant. When they arrived the whole structure was in flames.

No one was hurt in the blaze and investigators say they origin of the fire is “undetermined at this time.”
