Fire destroyed a car in Lansdowne over night.

Digby and Smith Cove Fire Departments were called to the car fire at 504 Lansdowne Road at 2: 30 a.m. Saturday morning, Nov. 10.

A red Chrysler Intrepid was on fire and the flames were melting the vinyl siding on the nearby house owned by Joey Balser Junior.

No one was injured and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
