No one wanted to admit rolling the truck into the ditch.
The Southville Fire Department arrived at the scene of a single vehicle accident on Thursday morning March 8 ready to help anyone injured in the accident.
But no one, not even one man who had obvious scrapes and minor injuries, wanted to fess up.
Fire Chief Doug Cromwell said it appeared the driver of a half-ton truck had failed to make the turn, hit the shoulder and "rolled it probably a few times." The truck came to rest on its side.
Cromwell said road conditions were dry and not slippery.
The firefighters, who are also first responders for medical emergencies, were called out to the accident in Riverdale Corner on the Langford Road just after 8 a.m.
EHS and RCMP arrived shortly thereafter and the RCMP began questioning people at the scene.
They took one man into custody.
Digby staff sergeant Phil Barrett said Friday the man will be charged with mischief and breach of a recognizance (bail conditions).
