Digby-Annapolis MLA Harold Theriault, who tabled Musil’s letter and petition in the Legislature on April 26, said many roads in Digby County should be re-paved.

A spokesperson with the Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal department said a decision on Ridge Road has not been made yet.

Bad roads are not the only thing, residents from Hillgrove, North Range and South Range are complaining about though, Musil said they also have problems with telephone lines and high speed internet.

Musil also gathered 390 signatures on a petition to have something done about those matters as well.

He said residents are experiencing extremely slow dial-up Internet speeds and says the telephone lines are very thin.

Area residents want high speed Internet available in the area and Musil has sent a letter to Communications Minister Frank Corbett.
