Last week, Musil sent a petition signed by residents of Conway, Acaciaville, Hill Grove, North Range, South Range and surrounding areas to Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal Minister Bill Estabrooks.
He attached a letter that describes the road condition as hazardous and asks for the road to be reconstructed.
In his letter, Musil said people are damaging their vehicles on the road that has potholes up to five inches deep and three to four feet wide.
“For years, residents have complained about this road because this road was built about 60 years ago and now the traffic is much higher than it was before,” Musil said.
He said patching does not work anymore,
During winter months holes are not easily visible but in the summer they are, he noted.
