Defence ministers meeting at Cornwallis

Defence ministers from countries providing security forces in southern Afghanistan are meeting Friday for an informal working meeting in the Annapolis Basin Conference Centre in Cornwallis Park.

The meeting, which is being hosted by Canada’s national defence minister Peter MacKay, will bring together his colleagues from the United States, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Romania, Estonia, Denmark and Australia.

The nations form the International Security Assistance Force’s Regional Command South in Afghanistan.
