The Events column is for non-profit listings of events in Digby County. Items may run twice for free before the event’s date. Dec. 12 - Christmas fair in the Royal Canadian Legion, Weymouth, from 6–9 p.m. with proceeds to help with St. Mary’s Bay Academy students’ trip to Greece. Dec. 13 - All-you-can-eat ‘country Christmas breakfast’ from 7:30 – 10 a.m. in Barton Baptist Church. Everyone welcome. Dec. 13 - Christmas tea, sale & auction in Royal Canadian Legion, Bear River, from 2 – 4 p.m. Proceeds for Bear River Economic Development Society. Dec. 14 - Praise concert in Digby Baptist Church at 7 p.m. presenting choir and friends, with solos, duets and instrumentals. All welcome. Dec. 15 - Band concert in Digby Regional High School Theatre at 7 p.m. with DRHS Band and Annapolis Basin Community Band. Dec. 14 - Pool tournament in Royal Canadian Legion, Digby. Until Feb. 10 - Scallop Palette Gallery exhibiting works by 22 artists in first ever small-works show in Digby General Hospital. Over 60 works explore the ‘Light of Winter’.
