The church was packed as historian Roberta Journeay shared highlights from Moody's life while actors Dorothy Outhouse and Ken Eyre portrayed historical figures Catherine Hubbard and Rev. Roger Viets. Music was provided by Jo Ann MacKay and Caroline Bosley.

Loyalist descendants Anna Ruth Rogers and John Jones unveiled a plaque of thanksgiving for Moody's outstanding service to his nation, province and community, and grade 12 students Josianne Boudreau and Kelsey MacDonald published a Moody brochure that was presented at the celebration.

Organizer Don Ruggles said that although author Susan Shenstone and three of Moody's fifth great grandchildren were unable to attend the celebration, they sent letters of congratulations and appreciation for the efforts made to honor such a great Loyalist.
