A class of 87students received high school diplomas during graduation exercises at Digby Regional High School on Thursday, June 28.
Valedictorian Gabrielle Andrews received the Governor-General's Academic Medal (awarded to the student graduating with the highest grade point average), and the Legion Memorial Trophy.
She also received over $12,000 in scholarships and bursaries.
Nicola Mann won the Queen Elizabeth II Medal (awarded to a student with superior academic achievement and an outstanding record in school and community involvement), the Mayor's Cup, the Science Award, the Mathematics Award and $9,500 in scholarships and bursaries.
Megan Hersey won the DRHS Memorial Cup and the DRHS Athletic Award and over $12,000 in scholarships and bursaries.
Sarah Tibbets earned over $20,000 in scholarships and bursaries.
Taylor Milne won the English Award and the Social Studies Award, Emma Dean the Staff Award, Bradly White the Techonology Award, Anya Maas the Options and Opportunities Award and Samuel Ross the French Immersion Award.
Taylor Titus won the Student Leadership Award and Douglas Stanton the Principal's Award.
