Barton students off to regional heritage fair

Barton school is sending six students to the regional heritage fair.

Barton's own annual heritage fair and open house was Thursday, April 12. Makayla Gouchie and Matthew Gosson had the top projects in grade 5; Meadow Carmen, Kaitlyn Marshall, Amber White and Rylee Amon, in grade 6. These students will represent Barton School at the regional heritage fair in Yarmouth on Thursday, May 10.

The staff, students, parents and community members cut a cake at the Barton fair to celebrate the school board's decision to keep Barton open.
