“It was nice to see people from around the province doing some incredible things,” said Turner.
Technology has just exploded in the classroom with developments such as portable computer tablets like the iPad, he said. It wasn’t that long ago that all of the school’s computers were contained in just one room.
His remark echoed a comment at the Education week opening by Education Minister Ramona Jennex.
“Thanks to our teachers and education partners, Nova Scotian students are engaged in our changing world in a way that is not only keeping pace but raising the bar,” the minister said.
