Digby General Hospital’s emergency department will be closed the following hours in September as a result of physician unavailability:

Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 8 a.m. , to Friday, Sept. 4, at 8 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 7 at 8 a.m. until Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 8 a.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 8 p.m. until Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 8 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 10 at 8 a.m. to Friday, Sept. 11 at 8 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 14, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 16, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 21, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 28, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Digby County residents who need emergency services during the hours of closure should visit the nearest open emergency department. Please call first to ensure the department is open. The public is reminded to dial 911 in the case of an emergency.
