Digby General Hospital emergency department schedule has changed due to physician coverage.

The emergency department is now open Monday, Jan. 21, to Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 8 a.m.

As well, the closure previously announced for Jan. 31 has been reduced by three hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., rather than to 8 p.m.

The planned closure previously from 8 a.m.Jan. 24 to

8 a.m. Jan. 25 remains unchanged.
