I have been involved in almost every aspect of small business for the past 18 years and I know the challenges that small businesses face in our community. I volunteer for the Special Olympics and the Children’s Wish.
We need to look at dealing as efficiently as possible with our resources to help create more employment with innovative projects such as development of a tidal power maintenance facility and to focus our efforts on attracting medical doctors with the construction of a new medical centre. We must ensure our council always seeks to deal as efficiently as possible with our citizens’ and taxpayers’ money so as not to increase property taxes.
My promise is to work as hard as I can for the benefit of my community.
