I was elected to council in 2004 and served as chair of recreation, chair of fire police and license committee, sat on the finance committee, the Tideview board, the RCMP advisory board, and the senior safety committee. I served 25 years in the volunteer fire service, am active in church activities, a life member of the Legion, served on the executive of the Digby Golf Club, sat on board of East Coast Classic, Wharf Rat Rally committee and Sports Hall of Fame committee and accepted a ministerial appointment to the South West Nova District Health Authority.
The three most important issues are health care, recreation for all ages and saving the taxpayers money by reducing the size of council.
I know, understand and care about our community and will dedicate myself full time to do the best I can to help our town grow, develop and serve its citizens to the fullest.
