I am a Digby native, a graduate of DRHS and NSCC. I am the owner and operator of Holdsworth House Bed and Breakfast and the Mag Pyes Cafe. I have fundraised for the Digby Food Bank, organized Digby’s first open-air art show. I am an active supporter of Digby Elementary Home and School and the Scallop Days Fun Run.
Let’s hang an “open for business” sign on Digby’s front door. This can be done with a positive presentation of the town and what we have to offer as a location for business and industry.
We need to keep the momentum moving forward with regard to Digby Port improvements and continue to promote Digby as the port of choice for tidal energy projects. And continue with the incentive program to attract doctors that are looking to locate in a smaller community that offers a welcoming comfort that comes with small town familiarity.
I am an honest hard-working businesswoman, who loves her town and is proud to say the town of Digby is her home. I will make myself available and accountable to the citizens of the town of Digby and will do my utmost to put the best foot forward for the betterment of the town of Digby.
