I am presently the deputy mayor, business owner of Digby Subway and a homeowner.

I have been involved in the Digby Fire Department for 15 years, chair of Fire Truck Rally, chair of Cruise Fundy, and past chair of Scallop Days.

We need to arrange for Council to sit with the District Health Authority to find out why we can’t keep doctors for a longer period of time and develop a better recruitment program funded by DHA.

We should stop the “Recovery Cost Approach” with the solution being tax and user rate increases. As per businesses, the town needs to “Decrease Expenses or Increase Revenues”, I currently have suggestions on how to start this process.

We should continue to support and work on Tidal Power Port and Bay of Fundy Discovery Center for the growth of the town.

I am a very active member of this community and continuously look for potential business, activities and new ideas to help the town prosper and grow.
