County warden Peter Newton said previous meetings have been held to review the Cornwallis Park facility’s history and financial information and to consider input from the public.
The first session was held in July to discuss the history of the facility. The second and third meetings were held in November to review the financial information of Lifeplex, and to invite the public to provide its input on the subject.
This week’s meeting is to give county councilors an opportunity to discuss and review various options for the future of this facility, Newton said
“The information we have received to date is critical in reviewing the options we have regarding the Lifeplex Wellness Centre’s future,” said Newton. “The establishment’s history and financial input, and, most importantly, the opinion of our residents are crucial considerations when making any decisions.”
The public is invited to attend the meeting only as observers.
