Clare Lions top Jets in New Waterford

Clare Lions downed New Waterford Jets 5-4 Saturday in the first half of a road trip.

The Lions, undefeated in eight games this season, are in Parrsboro this afternoon taking on the Fundy Phantoms.

Playing in New Waterford & District Community Centre last night, the Lions got two goals from Marc MacIntosh, and singles from Serge McCauley, Marc Lombard and Ryan Gallant.

Colin LeBlanc got the win in nets for Clare, making 22 of 26 saves.
