Fire chief misses own fire

Digby fire chief Robbie Morgan missed all the excitement Monday night when firefighters were called to his house for a midnight blaze.

Morgan was out of town when an outbuilding caught fire on his Culloden Road property, but firefighters—knowing the address—were quick to respond and douse the fire.

Cause of the fire is unknown, said deputy chief Ben Cleveland—but laughingly ruled out a barbeque.
