Kerr named Parliamentary Secretary

West Nova MP Greg Kerr has been appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the minister of Veterans Affairs.

The appointment was announced today by Prime Minister Stephen Harper, who also named Gerald Keddy (South Shore-St. Margaret's) as Parliamentary Secretary to the minister of International Trade.

A Parliamentary Secretary is a member of a Parliament who assists a more senior minister with their duties.
