Ex opens with 4-H activities

Digby County Exhibition opened today with 4-H activities and displays, judging of cooking exhibits, and judging of fruits and vegetables, beef and draught horses. There were also ox haul contests in the pulling arena.

This evening will have the tractor driving competition at 6 p.m. in the middle ring, and the ladies’ horse pull at 8:30 p.m. in the pulling arena.

Thursday starts with judging of oxen and steers, and the light horse show in the upper ring. The afternoon will see pull contests starting at 1 p.m., and with three categories each of horse and oxen.
