Bewitching brew served up at Witches’ Tea

By Karla Kelly FOR THE DIGBY COURIER NovaNewsNow.com Eight local ladies dressed up as witches to serve a special brew and lunch to afternoon guests Oct. 30 at the second annual Witches Tea at the Weymouth Legion.

Proceeds from the event go to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.

Organizers for the event said last year’s tea was so successful, they decided to turn it into an annual event close to Halloween.

Along with the tea, handcrafted items such as quilts and rugs were on display.
